Brandon Woodruff May Need Just One More Rehab Start
1 year agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Brandon Woodruff will "probably" make his next rehab start with Triple-A Nashville on August 1. If all goes well, he'll talk with the team to determine if he's ready to return or if more rehab games are necessary. The 30-year-old has appeared in only two games this season and owned a 0.79 ERA with 12 strikeouts before a shoulder strain put him on the shelf. Woodruff had a rehab outing on Thursday for High-A Wisconsin, striking out three batters and allowing an earned run. Fantasy managers need to hang on just a little longer because it appears the right-hander will be back soon.
