Dalvin Cook Likes His Chances Of Signing With Jets
1 year agoFree-agent running back Dalvin Cook said on Good Morning Football on Friday that he thinks the odds are good that he'll end up signing with the New York Jets after he visits with them this weekend. "I think we're in a position with a team that's building something special, and I want to be a part of something special... I wanna add to whatever they've got going on," Cook said. The Jets signing of Cook would be terrible for Breece Hall's (knee) fantasy value in his sophomore season while recovering from a torn ACL. Michael Carter is set to have an expanded early down role with the Jets likely easing Hall back in, and rookie Israel Abanikanda is expected to factor in at some point this year as well. Cook, a four-time Pro Bowler, would most likely be the top back in New York if he signs, at least until Hall is ready to take over. It would make for a complicated fantasy backfield.
