1 year agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Max Fried (illness) won't make his scheduled rehab start with Triple-A Gwinnett on Friday. The team hasn't exactly said why Fried was scratched, but fantasy managers shouldn't be alarmed. The left-hander was scratched from Wednesday's start due to an illness, so it's assumed he's still dealing with the issue. The Braves were hopeful to activate Fried from the injured list this week. That won't happen yet as the team wants Fried to make at least one more rehab start. Fantasy managers are going to have to wait a little longer before Fried is back on the mound for Atlanta.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
