Anthony Richardson To Start In Week 1?
1 year agoESPN's Dan Graziano thinks Indianapolis Colts rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson will offer enough as a runner that he'll be the team's best option under center in Week 1 over Gardner Minshew. Richardson also might not need as much refining as a passer as many thought he would. He was the fourth overall pick for a reason, and the Colts' plan is for him to be the starter at some point. Minshew knows the offense from working with new head coach Shane Steichen in Philadelphia, and the Colts are confident that he could handle the starting role if Richardson needs more time to develop. There just isn't enough information yet to determine if Richardson will be ready, and he only started 13 games at Florida in college. Fantasy managers in dynasty/keeper leagues are going to have to be patient, but the upside is obvious given his physical talent.
