Jalen Ramsey Requires Surgery On Knee
1 year agoUpdating a previous report, Miami Dolphins star cornerback Jalen Ramsey (knee), who was carted off the practice field on Thursday, is expected to miss at least six to eight weeks due to a meniscus injury that will require surgery, according to a source. Doctors will determine whether to remove the meniscus or repair it, which would be a much longer recovery. The expectation is that he will miss regular-season games, but the injury isn't believed to be season-ending. It's a big blow early on for Miami's secondary after they made an offseason splash by acquiring the All-Pro cornerback from the Los Angeles Rams. It's unclear how much time in the regular season Ramsey will miss, but it's a blow to a pretty strong secondary that also includes Xavien Howard and Jevon Holland.
