1 year agoNew Los Angeles Angels starting pitcher Lucas Giolito will make his debut with the Angels on Friday against the Toronto Blue Jays. The Angels acquired Giolito and reliever Reynaldo Lopez from the Chicago White Sox for two top prospects on Wednesday night as they look to make a playoff push in the second half of the season. The 29-year-old Giolito's move to the American League West probably won't affect his fantasy value all that much outside of giving him the opportunity for a few more wins. He'll be on normal rest on Friday in a tough matchup against Toronto. Giolito has been solid for fantasy managers in 2023 with a 6-6 record, 3.79 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 131 punchouts in 121 innings over his 21 starts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
