1 year agoLos Angeles Angels right-hander Shohei Ohtani had been scheduled to pitch on Friday against the Toronto Blue Jays, but he's been moved up to Game 1 of a doubleheader on Thursday against the Detroit Tigers after the game on Wednesday in Detroit was postponed. It's a very favorable switch for the 29-year-old two-way superstar. Ohtani has dealt with blister issues on his pitching hand in the last month, and he's allowed 15 runs (14 earned) on 18 hits (six homers) while walking eight and striking out 21 in 16 1/3 innings in his three starts in July. He's believed to be past the blister issue, though, and his start on Thursday against Detroit is much too good to pass up for fantasy purposes.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
