1 year agoNew York Jets tight end C.J. Uzomah (leg) passed a physical on Wednesday and was removed from the Physically Unable to Perform list. Uzomah started training camp on the PUP list, but he's quickly off of it and is now able to practice with the rest of the team. The 30-year-old wasn't very involved in the offense in his first year with the Jets in 2022, catching 21 of his 27 targets for 232 yards and two touchdowns in 15 games (13 starts). As long as Tyler Conklin remains healthy, Uzomah won't have a fantasy relevant pass-catching role in New York. Second-year tight end Jeremy Ruckert could also be looking at a bigger role, so Uzomah is well off fantasy radars heading into the 2023 regular season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
