Dalvin Cook Facing Suspension?
1 year agoAccording to Rochelle Olson of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, a court filing that has been sealed contends that free-agent running back Dalvin Cook's lawyers offered Gracelyn Trimble $1 million to send a letter to the NFL "relieving Mr. Cook of any wrongdoing" in connection with an incident that has prompted allegations of domestic violence against Cook. The $1 million offer allegedly came after Cook's lawyers offered $800,000 in exchange for an affidavit from Tremble denying claims of abuse. Throughout Cook's free agency, there has been chatter in league circles regarding hesitation arising from the possibility that he'll face league suspension. Cook has denied all wrongdoing, but it doesn't mean the NFL won't suspend him. It complicates his situation and his fantasy value even further heading into 2023.
