Clayton Kershaw To Throw Simulated Game Monday
1 year agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw (shoulder) had another bullpen session on Friday, his second in the last three days. It was "a really good, competitive 'pen," said manager Dave Roberts, adding that the multi-time Cy Young winner threw "upwards of 40 pitches." Kershaw, who's sat on the injured list since July 3, will progress to a simulated game on Monday. However, Roberts couldn't answer if he'd need more than one. Fortunately, it appears the 35-year-old is moving in the right direction, although there's a chance he won't return until August.
