1 year agoUpdating a previous report, X-rays came back negative on Texas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia (forearm) on Wednesday after he was forced to leave the game early in the eighth after being hit by a pitch on his arm. The team is considering him day-to-day. Garcia went 0-for-3 with a strikeout in the contest before leaving early, dropping his season average to .259. Fantasy managers can breathe a sigh of relief, and with the Rangers having an off day to travel on Thursday, there's a good chance the 30-year-old All-Star will be back in action for the start of a series on Friday against the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers. Garcia is having another fine season in 2023 and entered the day leading the league with 80 RBI in 95 games.
