1 year agoChase Briscoe and the No. 14 Stewart-Haas Racing team have been in desperate need of a good finish, and they finally got one at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Monday afternoon. Ever since posting back-to-back top-five finishes at Martinsville and Talladega back in April, Briscoe has been in a major slump, with no result better than 17th and just three top-20 finishes in the nine races that followed. On Monday at New Hampshire, though, Briscoe was able to pull off a top-10 finish despite only ranking 17th-fastest in green-flag speed. When asked about the finish, Briscoe remarked, "Out of the last two or three months, it feels like a win."--Jordan McAbee
