Whether you love him or hate him, Kyle Busch is always exciting. The veteran NASCAR driver recently brought some thrills to New Hampshire Motor Speedway during Crayon 301 qualifying.
Busch has been electric throughout the 2023 season and has guided the Richard Childress Racing No. 8 Chevrolet to three wins this season. He headed to New Hampshire with top-10 finishes in six consecutive races.
However, the No. 8 team driver will be hard pressed to keep that momentum going in New Hampshire after suffering a serious setback in qualifying. What is Kyle Busch's starting position and outlook in the NASCAR Cup Series Crayon 301 on Monday, July 17th, 2023?

What Is Kyle Busch's Starting Position At New Hampshire?
It was an eventful Saturday for Kyle Busch at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. First, during practice, Busch hit the wall early in the session and immediately came in so his pit crew could make repairs. They were able to get back out on track before the end of the session and Busch was able to qualify the car soon after.
The first round went fine, and Busch was fast enough to advance to the second round. However, he spun again during that second round and backed the car into the wall. For the Crayon 301 race on Sunday, Kyle Busch officially qualified 10th, but he will have to start from the rear of the field when the race goes green because of the repairs the team had to make from the wreck. Busch's crew chief, Randall Burnett, didn't think they would need to get the backup car out after qualifying was done.
