Browns Sign Thakarius Keyes To One-Year Deal
1 year agoThe Cleveland Browns signed free-agent cornerback Thakarius Keyes to an undisclosed one-year deal on Thursday, according to his agent, Kevin Conner. Keyes spent the 2022 season with the Baltimore Ravens, but he never appeared in an NFL game and was cut back in May. The 25-year-old was originally a seventh-round selection by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2020 out of Tulane. He played in eight games (one start) in his rookie campaign and saw action in five contests (zero starts) with the Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts in 2021. In 13 career games, Keyes has recorded nine tackles (eight solo). He'll provide secondary and special teams depth for the Browns in 2023.
