1 year agoRookie running back DeWayne McBride was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL Draft, meaning he wasn't guaranteed a 53-man roster spot. Just before the deadline to cut to 53 players, the organization released him. McBride will now likely sign to the practice squad or with another organization. Either way, it's tough to expect him to make a fantasy impact after failing to beat out second-year running back Ty Chandler.
