Jaylen Brown, Celtics Working On New Deal
1 year agoAccording to NBA insider Brian Windhorst, guard Jaylen Brown and the Celtics are working on a new contract. Brown is eligible for a five-year, $270 million supermax extension. However, Windhorst added that negotiations are "fragile," meaning the Celtics hope to avoid paying him the maximum amount, especially since the franchise may explore more moves heading into the 2023-24 campaign. At any rate, a deal will likely get done, although it may not happen soon. But one thing is certain, Brown is expected to remain a top-25 fantasy option in all formats, although he still has potential for growth.
