Corbin Carroll Still Sidelined Friday
1 year agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll (shoulder) is out of the starting lineup for the start of a series against the Los Angeles Angels on Friday. Outfield prospect Dominic Fletcher, who was called up from Triple-A Reno earlier in the day, is playing left field and batting sixth against Angels right-hander Griffin Canning. It's not a big shock after Carroll was forced from Thursday's game early against the Tampa Bay Rays with right-shoulder soreness. The D-backs aren't too concerned about the injury, though, so the 22-year-old could be back in the lineup as early as Saturday. Whenever he returns, fantasy managers need to get him back into their starting lineups right away. Carroll is one of the best fantasy producers across all categories, as he's slashing .290/.366/.559 with a .926 OPS, 17 homers, 44 RBI, 24 stolen bases and 60 runs scored in just his second MLB season.
