CeeDee Lamb 2023 NFL Player Outlook: Set For Another Top Five WR Finish
1 year agoDallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb finally established himself as a fantasy football superstar following Amari Cooper's departure from the team. Lamb finished with a career-high 107 catches for 1,359 yards and nine touchdowns last season. He was the WR5 in PPR formats in 2022, averaging 17.7 fantasy points per game. The 24-year-old wideout was easily a WR1 on fantasy teams, delivering eight top-12 wide receiver performances and averaging 24.9 PPR points during the fantasy playoffs. In 2023, Lamb is expected to be heavily involved again in Dallas' high-powered offense. Lamb's production should be fine despite the Cowboys adding veteran Brandin Cooks to their wideout group. He might draw fewer double teams, resulting in more open looks for the fourth-year wide receiver. Quarterback Dak Prescott has developed a strong connection with Lamb through the first three years, and that should continue this season. Lamb is a safe pick early in fantasy drafts this year, given his talent and upside as the top receiving option in a top-five scoring offense. He is ranked 17th overall on RotoBaller.
