Hunter Renfroe Out Of Monday's Lineup
1 year agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Hunter Renfroe is not in the team's starting lineup for the series opener against the Chicago White Sox on Monday. The day off for Renfroe isn't because he's slumping at the plate. The 31-year-old slugger has been red-hot at the dish in his last eight games, going 12-for-29 (.414), although he hasn't gone deep since June 13. He's hitting .288 (19-for-66) with two homers, seven doubles and eight RBI in 17 games in the month of June. Renfroe has been a nice addition for the Halos in 2023 with 18 doubles, 12 home runs and 37 RBI in 71 total games. Mickey Moniak is getting the start in right field on Monday and is batting leadoff for the Angels against White Sox right-hander Dylan Cease.
