Pascal Siakam Reportedly Wants To Stay In Toronto
1 year agoAccording to Doug Smith of The Toronto Star, forward Pascal Siakam wants to remain with the team. In fact, he reportedly made it known he won't re-sign with any club that trades for him in an attempt to lessen his value. However, none of this has been confirmed, and while the 29-year-old hasn't publicly expressed his desire to stay with the Raptors, Smith mentioned a source close to the veteran as having knowledge. Siakam, who averaged a career-high 24.2 points last season, has been a mainstay in Toronto since entering the league in 2016. It's a new era for the franchise, including a new head coach and the possible departure of Fred VanVleet. At any rate, there will certainly be more to this situation in the coming weeks. But no matter Siakam's future, he's expected to remain a top fantasy option.
