Derrick Jones Jr. Declines Player Option
1 year agoChicago Bulls forward Derrick Jones Jr. has decided to decline his $3.3 million player option for next season. The 26-year-old is now set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer. Jones has been a solid depth piece for the Bulls over the last two seasons. He averaged 5.0 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 0.5 assists over 62 games this past season. His athleticism is probably his biggest asset on the court. However, it's tough to imagine him finding a team that allows him to have enough minutes to become relevant in fantasy leagues.
