Tim Anderson Still Not Playing
1 year agoChicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson (shoulder) remains out for the White Sox on Wednesday against the visiting Texas Rangers. Anderson will be missing his fourth straight game, although he did appear as a pinch-hitter on Tuesday. Fantasy managers should continue to consider Anderson day-to-day. In his absence on Wednesday, Elvis Andrus will again man shortstop and bat eighth against Rangers left-hander Martin Perez. Andrus had a big game on Tuesday in the win over Texas, going 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored. Meanwhile, Anderson's disappointing 2023 campaign continues. He's sporting an uncharacteristically low .290 on-base percentage and has yet to clear the fences in 52 games.
