1 year agoThe Los Angeles Angels placed third baseman Anthony Rendon (wrist) on the 10-day injured list on Monday with a left-wrist contusion. Rendon was originally hit by a pitch on his left wrist last Thursday against the Texas Rangers, and he ended up missing the entire three-game series against the Kansas City Royals over the weekend. Hopefully, he'll be able to return when first eligible on June 26. The 33-year-old veteran continues to struggle in LA, as he's hitting a disappointing .248 (33-for-133) with six doubles, one home run, 21 RBI and 22 runs scored in 164 plate appearances and 38 games so far in 2023. Luis Rengifo, who started the last three games at the hot corner with Rendon out, is likely to see most of the playing time at third base until Rendon returns.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
