Lamar Jackson Impressing Offensive Coordinator
2 years agoBaltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has been impressing new offensive coordinator Todd Monken this offseason. "I'm impressed. There's not a throw he can't make. There's not a play he can't make," Monken said. We already know that Jackson can run the ball with the best of them, but the Ravens hired Monken this offseason to improve Jackson's and the team's passing game in 2023 and beyond. Baltimore has provided Jackson with more weapons through the air as well with veterans Odell Beckham Jr. and Nelson Agholor and rookie first-rounder Zay Flowers. The 26-year-old dual-threat signal-caller may have fewer designed runs because of lower-body injuries in each of the last two years, but the pure upside will continue to make him a top-five fantasy QB target.
