Jeremy Pena Still Out Wednesday
2 years agoHouston Astros shortstop Jeremy Pena (illness) remains out of the lineup on Wednesday against the Washington Nationals. It's the third straight missed game for Pena due to the illness, but fantasy managers should continue to treat him as day-to-day until we know more about his condition. Hopefully, he'll be able to return for the series finale against the Nats on Thursday. Mauricio Dubon will start at the 6 again and hit leadoff on Wednesday against Nationals right-hander Josiah Gray. Dubon has been crucial to the Astros' success in 2023 while filling in at the keystone to begin the year when Jose Altuve was recovering from a fractured thumb, and he's hitting a strong .297 (63-for-212) with 13 doubles, a triple, three homers, 15 RBI and five stolen bases on the year in 52 games.
