2 years agoNew England Patriots wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (undisclosed) remains unlikely to participate in practice at mandatory minicamp on Monday due to an undisclosed injury, according to sources. Smith-Schuster injured his knee in the AFC Championship game with the Kansas City Chiefs last season, so it's likely that the Patriots are holding him out for precautionary reasons. However, it also means that the 26-year-old is losing out on valuable time to build chemistry with quarterback Mac Jones this offseason. On top of it, Smith-Schuster could lose even more fantasy appeal if the Pats bring in free-agent receiver DeAndre Hopkins. When healthy, Smith-Schuster should occupy the team's big-slot role, which should give him consistent targets in an offense that is looking to improve after last season's disaster.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
