Carlos Correa Hits Go-Ahead Grand Slam
1 year agoMinnesota Twins shortstop Carlos Correa came up clutch for his team during Saturday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. The slugging infielder was hitless coming into the eighth inning, but came up with the biggest hit of the game. Correa launched a go-ahead grand slam off right-hander Adam Cimber in the eighth inning. The Twins put together an unexpected seven-run inning to take down the Jays 9-4 on Saturday. Correa has blasted two homers in his last three games. The 28-year-old appears back in his groove after missing some time due to injury.
