DeVante Parker 2023 Outlook: Low-Floor Wideout Option In Late Rounds
2 years agoNew England Patriots wide receiver DeVante Parker caught just 31 of his 47 targets for 539 yards and three touchdowns in his first season with the team. The 30-year-old produced a 156-yard game in Week 3 against the Baltimore Ravens but was silent until Week 18 when he caught two touchdowns. At this point in his career, he's nothing more than a low-volume contested-catch receiver and likely won't be on the fantasy radar in 12-team leagues. JuJu Smith-Schuster and Tyqaun Thornton should serve as the top two wideouts for Mac Jones in 2023, but Parker could also be out-targeted by Mike Gesicki and/or Hunter Henry. He might have boom weeks, but it's hard to envision a scenario where he's a weekly producer fit for managed leagues.
