1 year agoLos Angeles Angels prospect Edgar Quero swatted his second home run of the campaign for Double-A Rocket City on Tuesday. The switch-hitting catcher is the organization's second-ranked prospect and the No. 88 prospect overall in the minors, per MLB Pipeline. Quero is now slashing .260/.400/.364 through 41 games this season. His power numbers have dipped since his promotion from Single-A, where he posted 17 home runs in 111 games in 2022, but at just 20 years old, he is still in his early development. Quero's approach at the plate remains advanced for his age, and he has quickly established himself as one of baseball's top catching prospects. Quero is at least a year or two away from breaking through to the majors, so there's nothing actionable for fantasy managers at this time.--Kevin Hickey - RotoBaller
