Jonnu Smith 2023 Outlook: Not On Fantasy Radar In Atlanta
2 years agoAtlanta Falcons tight end Jonnu Smith had one season of fantasy upside in 2020 with the Tennessee Titans, but wasn't productive in his two seasons with the New England Patriots. After being traded to the Atlanta Falcons this offseason, it seems his time on the fantasy football radar has come to an end. In six NFL seasons, Smith has never topped 45 receptions or 450 yards and now shares a tight end room with former fourth-overall pick Kyle Pitts. Ultimately, Smith will likely be used as a backup blocking tight end and fullback, so he's not worth rostering in traditional leagues. He could have some value if Pitts suffers another season-ending injury, but even then he's not guaranteed for a productive fantasy season.
