Jorge Polanco Hitting Leadoff In Return To Lineup
2 years agoMinnesota Twins second baseman Jorge Polanco is hitting leadoff for the team for the first time this year on Thursday against right-hander Tanner Bibee and the Cleveland Guardians. Polanco returns for the Twins and fantasy managers after spending roughly two weeks due to a left-hamstring strain. The 29-year-old should hit at the top of the lineup or in the heart of the order on a regular basis as the starting second baseman, and he needs to be rostered in all fantasy leagues. Before his injury, Polanco was hitting .284 (27-for-95) with seven doubles, four home runs, 14 RBI, a stolen base and 10 runs scored in 101 trips to the plate and 23 games. Get him back into your starting lineups in single-year leagues.
