1 year agoBoston Red Sox first baseman Triston Casas is back in the starting lineup Thursday against the Cincinnati Reds and right-hander Hunter Greene. Casas didn't get the starting nod against another right-hander in Luke Weaver Wednesday night but will get a crack at Greene on Thursday night. The 23-year-old is still hitting under the Mendoza Line with a .193 batting average on the season along with six homers in 47 contests. The youngster's power has more or less been as advertised in his young big-league career with a solid .181 isolated power but he's a career .195 hitter in 74 big-league games. He'll hit seventh and play first base Thursday evening.--Brenton Kemp
