1 year agoTodd Gilliland will be making his 50th career NASCAR Cup Series start at Charlotte Motor Speedway this weekend, but the finish will likely be much worse than what he is used to. Gilliland is currently 22nd in the points standings with an average finish of 19.2, but this weekend he will be driving the #51 Ford for Rick Ware Racing as opposed to his normal #38 Ford for Front Row Motorsports. Comparatively speaking, this #51 car has an average finish of 27.4 over the last seven races, and just three finishes better than 25th all season long. Gilliland is running this downgraded equipment this weekend due to Zane Smith getting seat time in Gilliland's typical #38 Ford. Temper your fantasy expectations for Todd Gilliland until he gets back into his normal ride.--Jordan McAbee
