Ha-Seong Kim Returns To Lineup Saturday
2 years agoSan Diego Padres infielder Ha-Seong Kim (knee) is back in the starting lineup on Saturday and is starting at shortstop and batting eighth against the New York Yankees and right-hander Luis Severino. Kim is starting at the 6 with Xander Bogaerts dealing with some wrist soreness. Kim fouled a ball off his left knee on Thursday and had to be helped off the field and also missed the series opener against the Yankees on Friday, but he's back in there Saturday. The 27-year-old will be a low-upside DFS option near the bottom of San Diego's batting order in this one, and he's hitting just .237 (36-for-152) with seven doubles, five home runs, 16 RBI and six stolen bases on the year in 172 plate appearances and 47 games.
