Deebo Samuel 2023 Outlook: Volume Could Be Concerning
2 years agoFollowing his smash 2021 season where he finished as the number two overall receiver, San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel started as a consistent option in 2022 before fighting a combination of injuries and stolen work from RB Christian McCaffrey following his mid-season trade to San Francisco. With many mouths to feed in the form of Samuel, McCaffrey, Brandon Aiyuk, George Kittle, and Elijah Mitchell, Samuel should continue to see inconsistent volume both as a runner and a receiver into 2023. While he will have his boom weeks, he will also have his bust weeks and he is priced a little high for a boom-bust option. Fade him at current cost.
