John Metchie III Recovering From Hamstring Strain
2 years agoHouston Texans wide receiver John Metchie III (hamstring) is recovering from a strained hamstring and has been sidelined for the past several weeks at offseason practices, according to league sources. However, he's on track to make a full recovery by training camp at the end of July after suffering the soft-tissue injury during a workout earlier this spring. The former second-rounder missed his entire rookie season after being diagnosed with a treatable form of leukemia. By all accounts, he's made an outstanding recovery after being diagnosed last July. The 22-year-old can be ignored in most fantasy formats, as he'll be competing for snaps alongside Robert Woods, Nico Collins, Noah Brown and Nathaniel Dell this summer.
