DJ Chark Held Out Of OTAs Monday
2 years agoCarolina Panthers wide receiver DJ Chark (ankle) was present for the first day of organized team activities on Monday, but he didn't take part in team drills while still recovering from offseason ankle surgery. He'll likely continue to be limited this spring, but he's expected to be ready for full participation later this summer for training camp at the end of July. The 26-year-old pass-catcher played in only 11 games (10 starts) for the Detroit Lions in 2022 due to his ankle injury, but he finished strong and had 30 receptions for 502 yards and three touchdowns. Health will be key for Chark in his new home in 2023, but he won't be guaranteed anything while competing for targets alongside Adam Thielen, Terrace Marshall Jr. and rookie second-rounder Jonathan Mingo.
