Aaron Gordon Shines With 22 Points And Crucial Block
2 years agoDenver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon ended a scoring slump with a 22-point effort and made a key defensive play to help the team finish off the Lakers with a 113-111 victory Monday. Gordon was credited with a block on LeBron James' effort to take the game into overtime in the dying seconds, finishing with two swats in total. He shot 9-for-14 from the field en route to 22 points after totaling only 29 points in the first three games of the series. Gordon, who was 3-for-5 with the three-ball, also picked up six rebounds and five assists. Denver could make it another quick series in the Finals if Gordon keeps up the same level of play he had Monday night.
