Jose Ramirez Goes Deep In Game 2 Loss
2 years agoCleveland Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in the team's 2-1 loss to the New York Mets in Game 2 of a doubleheader on Sunday. Ramirez also went deep in the first game of the twin bill and finished that contest 1-for-3 with two RBI, a run scored and a walk. The 30-year-old Dominican switch-hitter is starting to heat up at the plate and is not slashing .280/.365/.478 with 12 doubles, a triple, six home runs, 25 RBI, five stolen bases and 25 runs scored in 43 games played in 2023. He's gone 15-for-54 (.278) with three doubles, three home runs and eight RBI in 15 games played in the month of May. J-Ram remains a must-start in fantasy lineups on a daily basis.
