2 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Joey Gallo (shin) is absent from the starting lineup for Friday's contest versus the Los Angeles Angels. The left-handed slugger left Wednesday's contest after fouling off a ball on his shin. Luckily, the X-rays came back negative, but it appears Gallo is still dealing with some soreness. Fantasy managers should expect Gallo to be back in the lineup at some point this weekend. In the meantime, Trevor Larnach will play left field and bat eighth versus lefty Reid Detmers on Friday. Fantasy managers should be able to find a better streaming option than Larnach for Friday's slate.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
