Jerome Ford Expected To Have Increased Role
2 years agoCleveland Browns running back Jerome Ford is expected to take on the No. 2 role this upcoming season. The departure of Kareem Hunt and D'Ernest Johnson have left the Browns without many options in the backfield. That being said, it appears the Browns are ready to see what they have in Ford. He'll likely handle a decent amount of the pass-catching in the backfield. However, Nick Chubb is likely to see a majority of the workload with the Browns being shorthanded. Ford only had 14 offensive snaps last season, so it's hard to imagine him being ready to take on the No. 2 role. It'll be interesting to see what happens during training camp.
