Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Remains Out Thursday
2 years agoToronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (knee) remains out of the team's starting lineup on Thursday against the New York Yankees. Fantasy managers should consider Guerrero to be day-to-day after his MRI exam didn't show any structural damage to his injured right knee. Hopefully, the 24-year-old All-Star slugger will be able to return on Friday. With Guerrero out again, Brandon Belt will get the start at first base and will hit eighth in the order against Yankees left-hander Nestor Cortes. When he's in the lineup, Guerrero is a must-start for fantasy lineups. He's currently hitting .312 (49-for-157) on the year with 11 doubles, seven home runs, 26 RBI, two stolen bases and 25 runs scored in 40 games and 179 trips to the plate.
