2 years agoLos Angeles Angels third baseman Anthony Rendon (groin) is likely to go on the 10-day injured list after missing the last two days with left groin tightness. The Angels are recalling infielder Livan Soto from Double-A Rocket City on Monday. In Double-A and Triple-A this year, Soto is hitting .170 with a .560 OPS, so he's unlikely to be anything more than infield depth for the Angels in the short term with Rendon hurt. For however long the 32-year-old is out, Gio Urshela is expected to see most of the playing time at the hot corner for the Halos. Rendon should be stashed in all fantasy formats, as he's hitting a robust .301 (31-for-103) so far this year with four doubles, a home run, 20 RBI, two stolen bases and 19 runs scored in 30 games played.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
