Evan Fournier Expects To Be Traded
2 years agoNew York Knicks guard Evan Fournier expects the team to trade him this offseason. "You know I'm not gonna be back," Fournier stated during a recent interview. "There's no way they're gonna keep me. I would be very surprised if they do. So, we'll see." The 30-year-old averaged a hideous 6.1 points and shot a career-low 30.7% from deep this season (27 games). Fournier has one year remaining on an expiring deal (and a team-option in 2024-25), making him an enticing trade piece for a rebuilding team, especially one hoping to acquire draft picks or up-and-coming prospects heading into the 2023-24 campaign. Of course, his fantasy outlook will hinge on where he lands next and whether he'll receive routine minutes.
