Tyler Boyd 2023 NFL Player Outlook: Slow and Steady May Not Win The Race
2 years agoAnother year, another stellar season from Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd. Operating as the third option on one of the best passing offenses in the league, the seven-year veteran always manages to make a splash in fantasy. The 28-year-old had 58 catches on 82 targets with 762 yards and five scores in 2022. Unfortunately, 34% of his yards came in two games, making him mainly an option in best-ball leagues instead of standard redraft formats. However, with four-plus targets (14% of the team's target share) in all but two games last season, he is in an excellent spot to start every week in deeper leagues. It might not be the most glamorous, but in deep-league formats, fantasy managers sometimes need three receptions for 50 yards. If that's the case, Boyd is your guy, and he always has touchdown upside in Cincinnati's explosive offense.
