2 years agoBrooklyn Nets guard/forward Ben Simmons (back) expressed his desire to play for the Australian National Team in the FIBA World Cup. The former 76er hasn't played since February 15, with his year ending prematurely because of a back issue. While he was already expected to be healthy for training camp, his aspiration to participate in international play potentially means he's progressing with his rehab efforts. Simmons is coming off a rough 2022-23 campaign, averaging career-lows in points (6.9), rebounds (6.3), assists (6.1), and steals (1.3). Without question, the 26-year-old offered fantasy managers plenty of versatility in the past.
