Antonio Senzatela Activated For Debut On Friday
2 years agoThe Colorado Rockies announced on Friday that they activated right-hander Antonio Senzatela (knee) from the 15-day injured list and also activated catcher Austin Wynns to the 26-man roster. In corresponding moves, catcher Brian Serven was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque and outfielder Yonathan Daza was designated for assignment. Senzatela will be making his season debut on Friday against the New York Mets after tearing his left ACL last August. The 28-year-old gave up seven runs on 13 hits in 6 1/3 innings in two minor-league rehab starts and faces a tough matchup on the road in his 2023 debut, so fantasy managers should probably avoid this start. As with most Rockies pitchers, Senzatela will mostly be a streaming option in deeper leagues on the road against weaker opponents.
