2 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Alex Verdugo (illness) is absent from the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies. The left-handed slugger missed Thursday's game as well due to a non-COVID related illness. This sounds like a day-to-day issue, so Verdugo should avoid a trip to the injured list. Raimel Tapia will leadoff and play right field versus right-hander Zack Wheeler on Friday. Fantasy managers should expect Verdugo to return within the next few days.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
