Marvin Mims Should Have Specific Role In Rookie Season
2 years agoThe Denver Broncos' current depth chart suggests that rookie wide receiver Marvin Mims might have a hard time seeing the field in his first NFL season. Denver has experienced depth in Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, Tim Patrick and others. However, new head coach Sean Payton will design a very specific role for Mims that allows him to get on the field, even if it's not in a high-volume role. Mims' ability to stretch defenses will make him an important puzzle piece as the Broncos try to resuscitate an offense that finished last in the NFL in scoring in 2022. The 21-year-old was taken 63rd overall in the second round this year. Mims won't really be on the fantasy radar in single-year leagues to begin 2023, but he'll be one to keep an eye on.
