No Ligament Damage For Michael Harris II
2 years agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Michael Harris II (knee) didn't suffer any ligament damage in his right knee when he jammed it on Wednesday. He hyperextended his knee, and eventually felt lucky it wasn't worse. "I was thinking I was gonna have to be carried off the field at first, and that it was going to be the end of my season," Harris said. The 22-year-old was available off the bench on Thursday after not being included in the starting lineup, so it was obvious that the injury wasn't too serious. Last year's National League Rookie of the Year recently returned from a lower-back injury, though, so the Braves aren't taking any chances. There's a chance Harris could be back in the lineup for the start of a weekend series against the Baltimore Orioles on Friday. Check back before reinserting him into your starting lineups.
